Optimal radiant heat answer NEW
by: Anonymous

For me it was a matter of logistics.

Our home was built in 1949, so I didn't want to go through the expense of a top of the floor radiant system.

It was much easier to run tubing up a chase for the finned baseboard.

Some clients don't like the look of baseboard heating or any type of radiator.

They prefer to feel the heat rather than see it.

The beauty of a hydronic (water-based) system is the ability to mix and match.

Hope this was helpful.
